Why am I in a zoo?

here's another story....

Baby Camel: Why did God give us thick lashes?

Mother Camel: To help us navigate through heavy sandstorms and protect our face from the scourging heat of the sun.

Baby camel: Why did God give us thick soles and padded feet?

Mother Camel? So we may endure the heat of the sun by day and the freezing cold at night.

Baby Camel: Why did God make us carry humps on our backs?

Mother Camel: So we wouldn't go thirsty on our long journeys.

Baby Camel: But mom, if God gave us all these to lead a good life, what the hell are we doing inside a zoo?

What good is being blessed with gifts we can't use? God has given us "at least" one special gift. So why not, "step out of the zoo" and find the environment where we could best use, develop and share these gifts.

Are you ready to leave the "zoo"?

i forgot, this blog is dedicated to all the volunteers of Grace Place, especially the Welcoming Team, (ironically the shy and quiet ones) who stepped out of their comfort zones to serve. Thanks peeps. ^_^

It is a massive step to live life "outside the box" because it is difficult to try something new that may cause us to trip up. But It's worth trying though because somehow, something will snap up us back in balance. Life has a lot to offer if we only know how to explore the world and find those gifts for ourselves.

thanks ate joy.! big leap for me to step out of my comfort zone. Parang ok kung hindi ngaun kelan ko pa gagawin diba? hehe Tapos ate clause and i are into service sa school for young people pero now Volunteerism for my God.
